When Watermarks opens for the first time, it is ready to test.

1. The best way to understand it is to simply use the built-in Shakespeare script to do some tests.
2. Basically, any existing PDF can be used as a Watermark. Any Mac application that can print can generate a PDF (Save as PDF).
3. Drop the PDF that you want to use as a Watermark into the Watermark box and set the opacity (amount of Watermark).
4. Then simply click the Quick Save PDF button. A watermarked version of your document will be saved to the desktop.
5. Experiment with the Shakespeare sample script and then drag your own document to the Watermarks icon in the Dock.

If you experience a crash when trying to Rasterize to Black & White in version 1.0 of Watermarks, try first rasterizing to Color and then performing the conversion to black and white as a final step. We have encountered just one PDF that causes this problem. We should have a fix shortly.
